There is a new racing organization just starting in the North State - The Northern
California Auto Racing Alumni. This group has been formed by local racers and fans as a
way to celebrate and preserve the rich history of auto racing - especially Shasta Speedway
and Silver Dollar Speedway. This is a non-profit organization who plans to hold regular
meetings, BBQs, special racing events, create a hall of fame, sponsor
vintage and nostalgic car events and much more !

NCARA invites anyone who would like to participate in the
non-profit organization to help preserve the past for all
generations to enjoy. Our mission is to develop an organization
that provides for a chronicling of racing from the Chico and
Anderson Tracks. In addition, it is our intent to create a "Hall
of Fame" to honor outstanding achievements that dates back to
the beginnings of both tracks and progresses through the years
eventually leading up to today. All are invited to participate,
whether a driver, owner, crew, fan or official. It is our plan
to have several events throughout the year giving an opportunity
for people to gather and enjoy the nostalgia of the past and
look to the future. We hope you will join the organization and
become part of Northern California’s Racing History.
